I. What does the bible say about the importance of passion and purpose:

Psalm 37:4: "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." 

Proverbs 19:21: "Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand."

Colossians 3:23-24: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."

Ephesians 2:10: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

These passages show that our passion and purpose should be rooted in God and his will for our lives.

God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, and he gives us the desires and abilities to fulfill that purpose.

When we seek God and his kingdom first, he blesses us with the passions and talents that align with his purpose for us.
