Our Vision Statement

Moving from Vision to Victory in Christ Jesus

It is the mission of Union A.M.E. Church of Warwick, New York, to effectively minister the Word of God to the people of God through Biblical teaching, preaching and outreach. We believe that we are called to live and worship as the physical presence of Christ, (also called the Body of Christ) to the residents of Warwick and the entire Hudson Valley Community. We live out this purpose by never ceasing in addressing the person as a whole: with needs for spiritual, social, financial, physical and emotional maturation. We view each person as a living document of God with unlimited potential to dwell in the will of God. Thus, we serve the total living document by lifting up the name of Jesus through worship, discipleship, praise, evangelism, economic and educational development.

It is the Goal of Union A.M.E. Church of Warwick, New York, for the 2007-2008 Conference year to work in our mission by building up our faith as we break ground for our new worship edifice. We will build up by increasing our opportunities and commitment to study and spread the word of God. We are committed to increasing our conversions and accessions by 25%. We are also committed to increasing the building up of our youth through partnerships.

The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. The third day He arose from the dead, He ascended into the heaven and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Church universal, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sin, the resurrection of the body and Life everlasting. AMEN
